LEGAL AGE FOR A TATTOO OR PIERCING IN WA STATE
Q: What is the minimum age requirement to get a tattoo in Washington State?
A: According to Washington State law RCW 26.28.085, the minimum age to receive a tattoo is 18 years old. Parental consent is not accepted in this state. Tattooing anyone under the age of 18 is considered a misdemeanor.
Q: What is the minimum age requirement to get a piercing in Washington State?
A: Minors can get certain piercings depending on age and proper documentation with parental/legal guardian consent. Minors must be accompanied by parent and/or legal guardian.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Q: What are acceptable documents to receive service?
A: We require documents to confirm you are legally able to receive services. If you are 18+ years of age, please bring your government issued photo ID, driver's license, or passport. Minors and their parent and/or guardian must bring documentation to prove guardianship (i.e. birth certificate, court order)
Q: What type of documents will not be accepted?
A: We cannot accept expired IDs, IDs without a photo, military IDs or foreign IDs
BOOKING FEES
Q: Do you require a booking fee to book an appointment and if so, how much?
A: Yes, we do require a booking fee to secure your appointment time with us. Our standard tattoo booking fee is $100 plus tax, but for certain projects, a larger amount may be necessary. Our standard piercing booking fee is $30+tax.
Q: Are booking fees refundable or transferable?
A: Booking fees will be credited towards your tattoo session on the final session of your project. Please note that these fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and will be forfeited if you do not show up or provide adequate notice. You are allowed one reschedule if you give at least 48 hours' notice, but after that, the fee will be forfeited. A new booking fee will be necessary to rebook your appointment.
SHOP MINIMUM AND PRICING
Q: Do you have a shop minimum?
A: Yes. Our shop minimum is $100+tax.
Q: Why do your artists have different pricing?
A: We provide our clients with a diverse selection of artists, each proficient in various art styles. The pricing set by our artists reflects their professional experience and unique skill sets.
TOUCHUP POLICY
Q: What is your touchup policy?
A: One free touch up is available at the artist’s discretion. The artist has the right to decline this service based on factors such as poor aftercare from the client or the use of numbing cream during the tattoo session which can negatively impacts the application and healing process. If a touch-up is necessary, it must be completed within 60 DAYS of the original work. Touchups are not free for bending areas such as knees, elbows, hands, fingers, feet, and neck due to their known trouble spots.
STUDIO HOURS
Q: What are your studio hours?
A: Our studio is opened 11am to 6pm Wednesday through Sunday.
